This website is hosted by Variomedia AG, August-Bebel-Straße 68, 14482 Potsdam, Germany. When you visit the website, the web server automatically stores information transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, previously visited page (referrer), and browser and operating system.

This data is required for the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is only stored for as long as necessary for this purpose. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the host in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

We only use one technically necessary cookie: “NEXT_LOCALE” stores whether you use the website in German or English, so you are not redirected again on every visit. It contains only the language code and is deleted after one year. The legal basis is § 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We do not use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies.

We do not use web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) and do not embed any third-party content. Fonts, images and videos are loaded directly from our server – no data is transferred to Google, Meta or other third parties when you visit the website.

If you contact us via the contact form, by email or by phone, we process the information you provide (name, email address, optionally phone number and participant’s age, and the content of your enquiry) in order to answer your enquiry. Enquiries sent via the form are forwarded to us by email and are not stored on the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about our programmes, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR otherwise. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

You can also contact us via WhatsApp. The WhatsApp link on this website is a simple link – WhatsApp only opens when you click it. The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta); its privacy policy applies. We only use the content of your message to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).

When you apply, we process the data entered in the form (first and last name, email address, age and details of your motorsport experience) in order to assess your application and get in touch with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Applicants under 14 require the consent of a parent or guardian. If you are not selected, we delete the data no later than six months after the selection process has ended.

On our website we present drivers who train or race with motorSPORTaktiv. We publish their name, photo, age, nationality, category, race series, team, achievements and a short biography and – where available – links to their own websites and social media profiles. We do not publish the exact date of birth.

Profiles are published with the consent of the drivers, or for drivers under 14 with the consent of their parents or guardians (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 4(4) DSG). Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future – a short message to kontakt@motorsportaktiv.at is enough. The profile will then be removed from the website promptly.

Courses and camps are booked via the Formel Club Shop (formelclub.at). The shop operator’s privacy policy applies to bookings; no booking or payment data is processed on this website itself.

With the setup builder on the Kids Academy page you can put together offers without any data being transmitted to or stored by us – your selection stays in your browser. Only when you click “Add everything to cart” does the Formel Club Shop cart open; the link passes on only the selected offers (product and date numbers), no personal details. The cart is managed by the shop with its own session cookie; the shop’s privacy policy applies to it.

Our profiles on Instagram and Facebook, our drivers’ websites and social media profiles, and the kart track locations on Google Maps are included as simple links only. A connection to the respective provider is only established when you click one of these links; that provider’s privacy policy then applies.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your data, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. Simply contact us at kontakt@motorsportaktiv.at.
