Questions about our drivers
How do you become a motorSPORTaktiv driver?
Most of our drivers started with a karting course, the Kids Academy or the Kart Camp. Those who then want to race move into the race series through our training. Anyone planning a motorsport career in earnest applies for Pro Recruitment.
From what age can you start?
Karting courses and the Kids Academy start at age 7. ÖTSM training is open from age 11 and a height of 146 cm, and you can race a touring car in the 3h Cup from age 15.
Which race series do our drivers compete in?
In karting, the Austrian Indoor and Outdoor Masters (AIM/AOM) and the ÖTSM; in touring cars, the 3h Cup at the Wachauring. Some drivers have already moved into formula and GT racing, such as the Formula Predator and the McLaren Trophy.
What have our drivers achieved?
In the ÖTSM our drivers have won championship titles in the junior and sprint classifications, and in 2026 the Rookie of the Year joined them. In the 3h Cup at the Wachauring our team finished 4th overall in 2025. At professional level, Patrick Schober became team European champion in EuroNASCAR in 2024. Most of our drivers started out in the Kids Academy or at the Kart Camp.
